While there is a lot of misinformation out on the web, currently in the United States (2024), Herbalism is unregulated and there is no official title, certification, or credential for Herbalists.
Herb Ahava School of Holistic Herbalism is affiliated with the American Herbalist Guild (AHG), which holds a rigorous Registered Herbalist (RH) criteria for professional membership. Our 200 hour Full Holistic Herbalism Program provides you with a paper + digital Certificate upon program completion that can be applied toward RH membership requirements.
Students are required to attend 200 hours of class and complete their final herbal project in order to receive this herbal certificate.

We totally understand that life happens! Live Online classes within our programs are recorded and provided for students after Tuesday evening sessions so you can learn on your own schedule. Students are encouraged to attend live online sessions when possible.
In person classes will not be recorded and students will need to connect with classmates to obtain notes & herbal preparations. We do our best to set-up study groups for students to make this easier. Additionally, we provided bonus class opportunities throughout our 8 month Outdoor Program so that students can fulfill their 127 hour In-Person class requirement for graduation.

Our Program offerings have limited seats available to keep class sizes small and allow for an immersive experience for all students in attendance. Additionally, we strive to pay our teachers & staff a livable wage for their time, effort, & knowledge.
Because of this, program tuition is non-refundable 21 days prior to -and beyond- the program start date.
*Program tuition payments can be applied to future classes and programs within 1 year of withdrawal.
-This does not apply to classes taught by Guest Teachers.
*Program tuition payments may be transferred to another student before the program begins.
We understand that life happens! If you need to miss some classes in a series, we’ll do our best to assist you in catching up on the material within our programs.
We appreciate your understanding as we adhere to these policies to keep our school fair & functioning for all.

Absolutely! We understand that program tuitions can be daunting. We offer automatic 4, 6, 8, and a 9 (full program) month payment plan options to ease financial burden.
*We do not charge extra for payment plan options.
Automatic monthly payments of your chosen amount will be deducted at the same time each month. This date depends on when you first registered for the program. If you registered on the 1st of the month, following payments will automatically draft each month on the 1st until your tuition is paid in full.
Each Student is responsible for tuition payments through the end of their payment plan period.
If you need to switch accounts, cards, or forms of payment during your payment plan period, please contact us 1 week prior to your scheduled due date so that we can make adjustments on the backend.
If a payment is denied, or is not completed as scheduled, a late fee of $30 will be applied to your account for that month.
Reminder Notifications will be sent out from Herb Ahava's office 10 days prior to payments to keep everyone informed.
